Grow Your Blog with Tailwind and a Huge List of Tailwind Tribes

Tailwind and their most recent feature Tailwind Tribes are taking the Pinterest marketing scene by storm. Tailwind has been around for a number of years, but it wasn’t until recently that their performance has taken off and it isn’t going unnoticed by those of us that manage Pinterest accounts professionally.

Tailwind and tailwind tribes are changing the way social media marketers, bloggers, and business owners manage Pinterest accounts. Learn more plus find links to join a TON of tailiwind tribes.

So what is Tailwind?

According to the website, “Tailwind is the smartest way to manage your presence across the visual web (Pinterest & Instagram), and offers a complete suite of marketing
tools including Smart Scheduling, Analytics & Monitoring, Content Discovery, Promotion, Education and more.”

In layman terms, Tailwind is a third party Pinterest (and most recently Instagram) scheduler. This scheduler though is so much more than the average product on the market.

Tailwind truly does embody their mission statement, “Make world-class marketing easy for everyone.”

What are Tailwind Tribes?

Tailwind tribes are in essence large group boards within Tailwind for bloggers to add their content for the ease of community sharing. Many Tailwind tribe owners set rules for their group to encourage sharing and promote activity. You can in one way equate Tailwind tribes to group boards on Pinterest but with greater functionality and benefits.

The best part is that Tailwind tribes are a FREE feature available to everyone, you do not need to pay for a Tailwind account to enjoy this feature.

When you join a tribe you can add your content to the group, see how many pins you’ve added to that tribe, see how many pins you’ve shared from that tribe, and best off all you can see the analytic results of your pins shared from that tribe.

What are the benefits of Tailwind?

In my career as a Pinterest account manager for numerous bloggers, I have had the opportunity to use and experience every Pinterest scheduler on the market including ones that are no longer in business. Admittedly so, I created a Tailwind account a long time ago but did not actively use the account. It wasn’t until a few months ago that I started actively managing an account that scheduled through Tailwind that I began to take notice to this amazing app.

At the end of the month I compared the analytics from the account which used Tailwind to the analytics of other accounts in the same niche. The Pinterest account that used Tailwind blew them all out of the water for traffic to the website, impressions, and new followers. I re-ran the numbers are few times just to make sure I wasn’t making a mistake. Tailwind was clearly having a positive impact on the blogger’s bottom line and business growth.

It was at this point that I decided to actively start using my personal account that I had started so long ago. I am thrilled with the results I am experiencing on my Pinterest account.

I also love that Tailwind is Pinterest API approved which means they have the green light from Pinterest as a third party app. Unlike some other schedulers which are getting Pinterest accounts flagged as spam.

If you are ready to join Tailwind, you can get 1 month free when you upgrade to a Pro account.

To add to the fun of joining Tailwind and to help you find tribes in your niche, I’ve compiled this HUGE list of tribes. Check back often as I will continually update this list as new ones become available.

Before joining, be sure to follow the specific tribe rules which will be detailed in the tribe, typical Pinterest rules still apply and most tribes want only high quality vertical pins with quality pin descriptions.

The following links are a mixture of direct links to the Tailwind tribe and Facebook posts where you can leave your Tailwind email to be added.

Tailwind offers the tribes to use for free. If you’d like more pins per month or analytics there is a minimal cost.
